Mr. Steiner not only carries out the tests according to EN 300 328 in his company, but also works at ETSI in the standardization committee for this standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Summary of the most important topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n CRA – Cyber Resilience Act:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The main subject of the presentations and discussions was once again the CRA (Cyber Resilience Act), which was enacted by the EU on 10.12.2026 and is to come into force by September 2026. As an EU decree, it will then no longer have to be transposed into national law. All types of electronic devices that have the ability to communicate on the Internet are affected. This also includes our remote control systems. With the entry into force of the CRA, no more devices may be placed on the market that do not comply with the CRA. Inventories of manufacturers\/dealers are also affected. (This regulation applies in principle to all EU decrees and standards). Proof of CRA conformity is provided by the CE mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Declaration of Conformity (DoC) must also include the CRA declaration from the deadline. Existing devices owned by the users do not have to be checked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n EN 300 328 (test standard for remote controls in the 2.4 GHz band)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n EN 300 328 is currently being revised in the ETSI committees (routinely every 5 years).
